A Guided Introduction to Skiing and Snowboarding

When you are about to learn anything new there is often the fear of the unknown lurking somewhere in the back of your mind. It is no different with learning to ski or snowboard. The new Start Here program at Mount Sunapee is a guided introduction to skiing or snowboarding. At most resorts you meet your instructor when your lesson is about to begin. At Mount Sunapee, in the Start Here program, your instructor meets you when you arrive at the resort and guides you through the entire process from check-in, through the Rental Shop and right up until the end of your lesson.

Family Ski Learning Center

Offered: Weekends and Holidays from December 22 through  March 31, 2013
Purchase: In advance on-line or over the phone for a specific day and time. Save $5.
Available to: Individuals age 13 and over.
Arrival Times: 9:00am, 11:00am and 12:00pm

The One-Day package includes:

  • A two-hour beginner group lesson
  • Use of beginner rental skis or snowboard, boots and helmet for the day
  • Lift ticket to the South Peak Learning Area for the day
One-Day Package: $84
Two-Day Package:

Book your lesson

Reservations must be made no later than midnight the day prior to arrival for a specific date and arrival time. We will also collect the information for your rental equipment which will streamline the rental process. Only Day-One is guided. For Day-Two start at the Rental Shop.

At the conclusion of Day-Two each person receives:

A Free Mount Sunapee Flex Card ($79-$99 value) which gives you:

  • 25% off weekend, holiday and peak period lift tickets
  • 50% off midweek, non-holiday lift tickets
  • $10 off group workshops, rentals and performance rentals
  • An option to purchase a $65 Day Three package including a lesson, rentals and all-mountain lift ticket

You also receive a voucher from Golf & Ski Warehouse for a $75 discount on adult ski or snowboard equipment packages or a $40 discount on junior ski or snowboard equipment packages at any of their four stores.
