General Information -

Aerial Practice

The Mount Sunapee Freestyle & Adventure Camp draw’s on Mount Sunapee’s skilled freestyle staff, AMP Energy AcroBag and the resort’s unique recreational activities to create a one-of-kind five-day camp experience for young athletes. This is a day-camp for mogul and park skiers ages 9-15 who want to hone their aerial maneuvers. The Camp is directed by Mount Sunapee’s Head Freestyle Coach, Mike Lovell. Very few camps across the country have a full-on Adventure Park and State Beach on campus. The daily schedule includes strength and fitness training, a session in Mount Sunapee’s 50’ X 50’ AMP Energy AcroBag, lunch and swimming at the Lake Sunapee State Beach and a daily activity in Mount Sunapee’s Adventure Park including the Canopy Zip-Line Tour, Aerial Challenge Course and 18-hole Championship Disc Golf Course. Athletes are grouped in ages 9-11 and 12-15.

Condominium lodging is available for families at the Mountain Edge Resort & Spa, which is located near the entrance to Mount Sunapee. During the week family members can enjoy all of the activities at the Adventure Park at Mount Sunapee as well as in the popular Lake Sunapee Region of New Hampshire.

Mike LovellThis camp is really unique”, says Mike Lovell, camp director. “While there are a few other summer freestyle camps across the country, I can’t think of one that has a full-blown Adventure Park and State Beach right on campus. These young athletes are really going to have a fun week.
