More Friends = More Fun.
Our goal in creating special programs for your group is to help maximize fun. We want to make it as easy as possible for your group to enjoy a day (or more) of great skiing and riding at Mount Sunapee. We know that no two groups are alike so we’ve become pros at helping you answer the questions that will insure every member of your group feels like a part of our family. Call 603.763.3574 or email email@example.com to plan the perfect getaway for your group!
#1 WE’RE A BIG MOUNTAIN
With over 1,500 vertical feet of diverse terrain, Mount Sunapee has something for everyone. We have wide cruising trails, glades, three terrain parks, mogul runs, a race arena and a separate learning area. All 66 trails and slopes lead back to one base area, which helps groups stay together. With ten lifts including three quad chairlifts (two summit high-speeds) everyone is sure to get all the skiing and riding they want every day.
#2 WE HAVE THE BEST SNOW
Over the past 10 years Mount Sunapee has averaged a top 3 ranking in the entire East for snow quality and grooming in the annual SKI Magazine Reader Survey and for 2017, we were named #1 in grooming. No other ski area in the East, no matter where they are located, can say that!
#3 WE’RE RIGHT IN YOUR BACKYARD
If you live Eastern Massachusetts or Southern New Hampshire, Mount Sunapee is by far your closest big mountain skiing and riding. We're just 90 minutes from Boston. So whether you travel by car or motor coach, choosing Mount Sunapee will save you time and money. And who wants to drive more or spend more to do it?
#4 YOU EARN FREE LIFT TICKETS
For every 20 tickets your group purchases on weekends and holidays you get a free ticket. Want more? During value season and non-holiday midweek periods you get two complimentary tickets for every 20 tickets purchased. So put a group together and ski for free!
#5 THE BEST LEARNING AREA IN NEW ENGLAND
The South Peak Learning Area offers 13 trails and 5 lifts and is specifically designed for teaching adults and children how to ski or snowboard. Totally separate from the main mountain, a slow-moving quad chair and two easy-to-ride carpet lifts make it as easy to get up South Peak as our patient, experienced instructors make it to get down.
#6 YOU CAN HAVE YOUR OWN PRIVATE SPACE
Groups of 20-35 can have their own private room for the day in Spruce Lodge. Located just steps from the slopes, the Hearthstone Room offers a huge fieldstone fireplace, a hostess, bag storage, a changing room and food and beverage options including breakfast, lunch, après-ski snacks and a cash bar.
#7 YOUR RENTAL EQUIPMENT WILL BE READY AND WAITING
Give us 48-hours and our advance reservation service we will have your group’s rental equipment adjusted and waiting when you arrive at Mount Sunapee. Just enter the special group entrance at the Rental Shop, grab the equipment and go. Helmets are also available for rent.
#8 MOTOR COACHES GET PREFERRED PARKING
Motor coaches park right behind the Spruce Lodge just steps from the Group Sales Office, Rental Shop and the slopes. We bring beginners right to the base of South Peak. We don’t put our busses out in Timbuktu. Plus, we treat the motor coach drivers to a $10 lunch voucher.
#9 WE PERSONALLY GREET EACH MOTOR COACH
A Mount Sunapee Ambassador boards and greets every motor coach on weekends and holidays. We hand out trail maps, review the Skier/Rider Responsibility Code, give everyone the lay of the land and escort your group leader to the Group Sales Office and those renting equipment to the special group entrance at the Rental Shop.
#10 WE CAN CUSTOMIZE PROGRAMS AND OFFERINGS JUST FOR YOU!
Besides lift tickets, lessons and rental equipment we can add pre-loaded gift cards to be used in any of the food venues, fun races or the luxury of your own private space in the Hearthstone Room making to make your group trip to Mount Sunapee memorable and complete.
To receive group rates and services you need to book and confirm with the Mount Sunapee Group Sales Office at least 24 hours prior to your group’s arrival. Same-day walk-in groups are not accepted.
